- Clean the mask with soapy water or neutral detergent, avoiding the use of organic or corrosive solvents.
- Thoroughly rinse the Half Facepiece Respirator in clear water, paying special attention to removing soap from the exhalation valve.
- Rinse the exhalation valve repeatedly with tap water.
- Allow the mask to air dry or dry it with a non-lint cloth; you can use warm air below 40°C to speed up the drying process.
- Regularly inspect the various parts of the mask monthly, including the mask skirt, sealing area, head straps, exhalation valve, and inhalation valve for signs of damage or aging, and replace or repair them in a timely manner.
